A small company that answers its own phone
We started this because of a specific, recurring, entirely avoidable scene: a family off a night flight from the Gulf, on the kerb outside TRZ at half past two in the morning, negotiating a fare in a language the grandchildren no longer speak, with nine suitcases and no idea what the number should be.
Why owner-operated matters
Most airport cars in this part of the country are driven by someone who does not own them. They are paid per trip, they carry the cost of fuel and tolls in cash, and they are the person who has to ask you for the driver’s allowance at the end. None of that is their fault — it is how the arrangement works.
The person who meets you here owns the vehicle. It changes the incentives completely: the car is clean because it is his car, the driving is careful because it is his insurance, and there is no allowance to ask for because the fare came to him in full, before you landed.
It also means the number of cars we can put on the road is small. We would rather turn a booking away than hand it to someone we have not vetted, which is why this is a pilot and not a marketplace.
What we will not do
Ask for cash
Not for tolls, not for parking, not for the driver's dinner. If anyone driving for us ever asks you for money, tell us and the fare is refunded in full.
Charge more at night
Most international arrivals at TRZ land between midnight and five. That is the service, not an exception to it.
Invent reviews
There will be testimonials on this site when there are customers to write them. Until then there is an empty space, which is more informative than a fake one.
Take a booking we cannot keep
If the car is committed, we say so and help you find someone else. An accepted booking that arrives late is worse than a declined one.
Subcontract quietly
Two of our four vehicle classes are arranged through partners, and the fleet page says exactly which. You will never discover that after you have paid.
Hold your documents
No operator needs your passport as security. Anyone who asks for it is telling you something about how they do business.
